    Originally from Aurora, I now teach English 1 and 2, and I am also the boys' and girls' golf coach at Sandoval High. After graduating from Illinois State University, I moved to Huey, Illinois which is about 9 miles from Sandoval. I love to read and write. I also love teaching literature and the language arts. Sharing the experience of literature and making learning fun and valuable for students is my goal.

    When I'm not teaching, I like to watch Chicago Blackhawk hockey and, being from Northern Illinois, I am a Cubs fan. I love to play golf and be with my family.
