CLASS MANAGEMENT PLAN

It is my desire and goal to help each student work toward his or her  full potential in the classroom.  The main areas of concern are academic, social, and emotional development.  I have structured my plan to target those specific areas. 

CLASS RULES

1.  Follow all handbook rules

2.  Be prepared (books, pencils, paper, brain)

3.  Speak with permission

4.  Keep ALL things to yourself

5.  Show RESPECT  to everyone ALWAYS

If a rule is not followed the following consequences may be used.  The order of the consequences  may be changed according to the situation.  

CONSEQUENCES

1.   Eye contact

2.   Verbal warning

3.   Discussion with teacher concerning behavior

4.   Appropriate writing assignment

5.   Parental contact

6.   Detention issued

7.   Referral written and student sent to principal's office

ADDITIONAL CLASS INFORMATION

REDO ASSIGNMENTS

Students are allowed to redo most assignments.  Half credit is usually given for those parts redone correctly.  This is a form of extra credit available for all students!!!  Take advantage daily!!!

TEST REMEDIATION

Most tests with a letter grade of F are allowed to be taken again.  The student must correct the answers on the first test and present it to me for review.  The student may then retake the test.  The highest grade recorded from the retake will be 65.  Again, this is to allow more learning and a chance to improve a grade.
